LAPHROAIG ELEMENT SCOTCH SINGLE MALT LIMITED RELEASE L 2.0 700ML Syrah/Shiraz It brings a direct connectionElements 2. 0 is a bold, non chill filtered whisky showing the flavour impact of an extended fermentation process. The result is fruity and smoky, with notes of stewed green apples, zesty orange peel and smoky peat. This second release of Elements really got Distillery Manager Barry MacAffer excited. The extended fermentation of up to 115 hours introduced some extra tropical fruit notes which perfectly balanced with the soft smokiness of the peat.
