Consulting winemaker Craig Williams (formerly of Joseph Phelps) surprised me by bringing a bottle of the 1974 Mayacamas Cabernet to lunch recently

Huge concentration

wonderful finish

Chateau Rayas, Chateauneuf-du-Pape 1996 Barbaresco Almost like a St Em2. 5cm; torn label CellarTracker Member Bisato with Pascal and Francoise (Seattle, WA, USA): Mmmm, warm, baked earth, holy s**t, this just explodes, so warm, easy, stunning, spice market, stunningly pale, haunting, complex. Again in my notes I wrote HAUNTING!!! Just wow. 6 20 2024 96 Points CellarTracker Member The alcohol is not really noticeable and well integrated. Nice extract sweetness without any stewed fruits. Close to his peak. 1 19 2024
