Football Legends Bill Willis And Marion Motley oakland Light the lamp for oneBill Willis and Marion Motley: certified football legends. When Willis and Motley stepped on the field for the Cleveland Browns first game ever on September 6th, 1946, they broke the color barrier in football months before Jackie Robinson did the same for baseball.
