Early 20th Century Briddell Cleaver hamms MM - 301367 - 051523c. 1900s; Chas. D. Briddell, Inc. Crisfield, MD Antique 6" cleaver manufactured by Briddell. In addition to cleavers and butcher knives, Briddell's other claim to fame were their crab and oyster harvesting tools for local watermen and boatmen on Chesapeake Bay.
