This is an excellent example of a genuine British Mark II steel helmet, which is dated 1942. We can not see the stamping on the underside of the helmet as the net is too thick and we are not going to risk damaging it. The liner markings are: 7 (Size) V. M. C. II 1942 The paint is 100% original and is complete with an original helmet net, which has a lovely color to it. There is some discoloration on some of the net
