"Stable Interior", Decontextualized (and Independently Resonant) Antique Painting Label Burmese betel box I believe--1910s or soWith the painting it once titled is now long gone or far away, I find this a most excellent found object. While that painting, by a James Ward, surely depicted the interior of a horse stable, I prefer "Stable Interior" now as a stand alone declaration of one's psychological state i. e., I might look like a mess, but I have a very stable interior!
