The liner is a genuine correct WWII German issue with 8 finger leather construction ink stamped 56

It appears to be a 46" Barreled Brown Bess with a King George marked flintlock

It is of perfectly standard brass and copper construction, very similar to British Bugles of the period. All of the markings are however in French, so we assume it was supplied there prior to the outbreak of WWI.
