This genuine muster roll is for Company H of the United States 53rd Colored Infantry Regiment dated April 13th, 1864. The document measures approximately 21' x 30. 5". Overall condition is good, most writing is legible. There are some holes and expected wear in places. The reverse was reinforced at the fold lines. Overall a very interesting and rare document from one of the few free Colored Regiments in the Union Army.
