This is an incredible example of an early WWI Imperial German Feldmtze which features a Grand Duchy of Hesse cockade. This example is in fantastic condition with few flaws. This cap is constructed of a fine dark blue wool with red piping around the top circumference and a 1 red wool band going around the lower circumference of the cap as well. The front features two lovely single piece stamped cockades as used by
