Bio (courtesy MGH Discovered Art):

This marvelous fellow

Very Last of the Old Birdlover's Watercolors: Hooded Merganser Penobscot basket vase 13 5/8” x 7 7/8”Truly the very last few today from a great bunch of old naive watercolor of birds done by someone long ago who was quite serious about his birds! Each and every one of them a charmer I think, this one portraying a proud Red Breasted Merganser, with wonderfully careful hand written attribution. 7" x 5" and in very good condition.
