This is a fantastic collection of items that belonged to 2nd Lieutenant John Hunter Platt of the 87th Mountain Infantry Regiment who also fell under the command of the 10th Mountain Division. Platt took part in the Allied Invasion of Kiska as well as the Italian Campaign during WWII.
