Fox and Crow, Earlyish 20th C. Brass Fable Button ww2 Such a fun thingI don't typically buy and sell buttons, but I found this one a month or two in a shop from which I was also buying some extraordinary early embroidered trim, and just liked it perhaps especially for the fable of the fox and crow it illustrates: a warning against being vulnerable to flattery, which seems particularly relevant these days and especially apt communicated via a shiny object! Maybe the perfect if not so subtle gift for one's dear but too
