This is a wonderful condition M1938 dispatch map case without a shoulder strap. Nicely stamped U. S. M. C. on interior as is correct. No maker mark that we can find. The map case retains the insert with the grid. The lift the dot snaps are intact and in good shape. There is a faint 1944 date on the interior. Comes ready to display.
