This is an excellent early example of a German WWII Luftwaffe Officer's Sword from a famous maker. Early examples such as this were fit with silver plated nickel alloy mountings, with lovely brass "Sunwheel" style Hankenkreuz (Hook Cross or Swas) emblems.
