This is a wonderful example of the classic German Wehrmacht LP 34 signal flare pistol, which appears to have been captured and used by Allied Forces. It has seen significant use, and is contained in an original British Issue holster. The Leuchtpistole 34, designed in 1934, has an aluminum alloy frame and barrel with steel moving components, uses 26. 5 mm flares, and was finished in black anodized aluminum. Steel
