It is maker marked 26 on the pin for maker Klein & Quenzer of Idar Oberstein a. d. Nahe. The reverse of the medal is inscribed 16. 10. 43 which stands for October 16, 1943 and represents the day the award was earned. This iron cross is in very fine condition, with a lovely patina on the silver,
