no tears or stains

I really have no idea what all is going on in ink drawing on the front of this postcard

and a small fold at bottom right corner

Pair of 1930s Cockcroft Hand-painted Floral Plates: Two Lilies fancy dress and then all the blocksI knew nothing of Cockcroft plates when I found these, I just thought they were lovely and beautifully done, clearly hand painted and also very cheerful! With a quick search I learned these were made by Edith Varian Cockcroft (American 1881 1962), and that her plates are quite a known and collected thing. These probably date to the 1930s or so, and Id guess were once two of a dinner set. I must say I like these two as much as anyothers Ive found
