I found this fantastic painting in New Hampshire

and the black painted base galvanized aluminum

2nd half of the 19th century I believe

but with just the right amount of detailing for the seams

Striking Antique Blue and Red Needlepoint Pouch gourd-shaped I found this fantastic paintingI'm drawn to pattern like a magnet, and for me it doesn't get much better than the blue and red combinations on this 19th century needlepoint pouch I can't decide which side I like best, as I think both are just stunning. I love the variation to the blue especially, a perfect imperfection I assume product of variation in the original dying of the thread. I would guess some sort of closure was originally planned for this but not completed, all to the
