This is a phenomenal WWII German Wehrmacht (Heer) Aluminum EM NCO's Belt Buckle (Koppelschlo) belt buckle, originally made and used by a soldier in the German Army. It was then captured by a Soviet Russian soldier on the Eastern Front, who attached the star emblem of the Soviet Union onto the front of the belt, blocking out the German Reichsadler Eagle. The Heer motto GOTT MIT UNS ("God (is) with us") is still
