Paper really is bright white and very clean

and with no apparent impact on the strength of the handle

No current hole or hook for hanging but pretty perfect just set on a shelf or desk

The newspaper is very brittle with lots of tears

Old Brass Hand-engraved Snuff Box with Tulips, Presumed Dutch (Trench?) found face Paper really is bright whiteA bit of a challenging to photograph this one due to the shine on the brass, so forgive the crummy pictures . I am pretty certain this is a snuff box, definitely with a lot of years on it, and my guess due especially to the tulips is that it is Dutch. The relatively crude manner of the engraving, especially the zig zags around the edge and on the leaves of the tulips screams trench art to me, though I am not 100% sure. Of course I love it in the way
