and the pewter top screws on nice and snug

and I believe the box is pewter

The black patterned banding near the opening and base give this smart little vase an added layer of detail and polish. Really just a lovely little piece, perfect for one pretty bloom. I believe this is Chinese and dates from the 1950s or so. The vase measures 4 inches tall with a diameter of 2. 25". The opening measures 3 4 inches across. It is in near perfect
