but I love it so much--and really in significant part for exactly that reason

but there is no way I could leave her behind

Beautiful Old Interlocking Balls in Cage Carved Walnut Whimsy prehistoric bird sculpture I'd guess 1950s-60sI love carved whimsies that feel like tabletop scale architectural towers as this one does, even better for being able to rotate one section independently from the other. I also really love the way the handle of the piece housing two balls reads as yet another ball in cage as it locks into the other piece. Very nicely carved of walnut and found in Adams County, PA. 8 3 4 l x 1 1 16 wide and deep and in excellent condition, with good age to it for sure.
