This is a set of two wooden airplane propellor tips from World War One which were converted into hanging picture frames. Inside the frames are presumably a husband (dressed in WW1 United States Aero Squadron uniform) and wife. Each frame has glassed glass front. The frames measure 11" H x 8" wide. The Aviation Section, Signal Corps, was the aerial warfare service of the United States from 1914 to 1918, and a direct
