1854 $3 Princess Gold Coin - Extremely Fine Detail KM.732.1 Just a couple of niceBy some accounts the primary purpose for the $3 gold coin was to make the purchase of larger quantities of 3 stamps easier. Whatever the reason, this "odd" denomination is always in demand and one of the more interesting coins in U. S. history. This specimen has been cleaned at some point.
