Lots has been written about the Pennsylvania Dutch use of these complex geometric, heavenly inspired stars on the sides of barns and far beyond, and I do think they capture both a magical sort of wonder and a sense of universal order. I presume this was once a panel door on a piece of furniture, or perhaps the slide lid on a very long box. 19 3 4" x 10 1
