Description

It appears that at one time it was covered entirely in gold paint or gold leaf

early 1890s based on a few others in the group

whether in drawings or real life

who does not seem especially eager to open the door and let him in

Bone and Stone vintage brass sign It appears that at oneI found this bone (a vertebrae I believe) and stone together just like this, and just couldn't leave them behind. A small scale found sculpture of sorts, but which feels as if could be a model for a monumental one. Feels like the embodiment of symbiosis to me and quite satisfying. As pictured: 2" t. Bone 1 1 8" to 1 1 4" d, 1 1 4" t.
