19th-century Small Convex French Mirror #5 easter Held in an etched-glass sprayWithin John Derian's curated collection of antique art and mirrors is this convex mirror "butler's mirror" or "witch's mirror". Featuring an ebonized frame and an inner gold toned rim, the mirror glass bulges outward to offer a wide angle, distorted view of the surroundings. Historically, these mirrors were popular in 19th century dining rooms, allowing butlers to observe the entire table efficiently. Details 6. 25" W x 7. 5 H Convex glass, wood
