and whoever put it in this antique frame knew just what they were doing

Old Carved Folk Art Still Bank with Crown of Thorns Corners 1908 The nutcracker stands 8" tallWith its crown of thorns type construction, this folk art still bank seems a good one for collecting tithes or perhaps saving up to purchase something sinful! Very lovingly carved and constructed, of cigar box wood wood I believe, with especially nice incising on the slide opening, with four stars surrounding the coin slit and zig zag edges on either end. Lovely, Approx. 4 1 2" x 4 1 2" x 4 1 2". Very good condition, with a small loss to one point,
