and this carved bust of a woman with thick head of seemingly wind-blown hair looks a lot like the figurehead at the bow of a ship to me

with nice twisted wire handle and all of the loops in place and connected to form a cluster

though feeling of quite a different ilk than most one sees

Point of Sight, Point of Distance, 19th Century Black Ink Perspective Drawing carrying pails really) like this thoughThis one came out of a large c. 1870s century folio filled with all sorts of things, including a whole notebook of geometric perspective drawings, listed separately, and an assortment of handwritten notes on everything from wax flower making to casting. Included were a handful of single pages with perspective practice drawings, which I think so good on their own I am listing individually. I really love the combination of objects included here, each in
