Unusual Colorful, Round Felted Wood and Silk Pin Cushion Venetian glass and then on the flip

and then on the flip side a very tall

walking stick in his hand and pack slung over his shoulder make it feel just right

It looks to me that the portrait photographed was done in charcoal

and all the more so for its bright red interior

Unusual Colorful, Round Felted Wood and Silk Pin Cushion Venetian glass and then on the flipSo many beautiful old pin cushions out there an endless array of small treasures all about bringing delight into the everyday. I've not seen another like this one, made of pieces of what I believe is felted wool, cut with scalloped edges and wrapped concentrically. With a cardboard covered in green silk which is really the only thing that shows age and makes me think probably early 20th c. Great palette, great form, well made and very cheerful. 3 3 8"
