The stem is only 4. 5 inches long but it supports the largest bowl of any of our pipes. The massive bowl stands 2. 5 inches deep with a one inch diameter. While a hefty pipe, it is perfect for a relaxing evening smoke. Black clay pipes are made from the same material as the white pipes, the darkening happens in the firing process.
