and I think the cap's meant to serve as a jigger

a perfect object exactly as it stands and if there were ever something that felt holy to me

Though its presence doesn't come across in photos well

Ernest Trova "Trovascope" for MOMA, 1974 cricket stool please be in touchI found one of these several months ago, and will buy others if I find them as I think they're excellent. It is a "Trovascope" designed by artist Ernest Trova (1927 2009) for the Museum of Modern Art in 1974. I think more artists should design kaleidoscopes, but Trova was especially well suited to creating a very graphically satisfying one, with his "falling man" silhouettes lending themselves to all sorts of interesting kaleidoscopic permutations!
