Coil Built Clay Mother and Baby, Presumed South American fertility goddess in addition to a niceI am not entirely certain the origins of this one; I believe South American, and might guess Brazilian. A very Madonna esque mother for sure, with wonderful face and bell like, coil built skirt painted with excellent stripes. And what a lucky baby, cradled in yellow blanket between her joined hands and very large busom, gazing up at her. Another one that would make a great gift for a mother, I'd say, and to my eye just a charming piece, awkward in all
