C. 1900 Ink Portrait of Soulful Looking Young Woman on Card, Signed HK Lachman black bird Toning spots all over as

Toning spots all over as evident but even so it reads very bright and crisp

Colors richer and more beautiful than photos well convey

As a stand alone piece I think it's pretty terrific

as it appears there are a few stray brown threads near the top

C. 1900 Ink Portrait of Soulful Looking Young Woman on Card, Signed HK Lachman black bird Toning spots all over asA serious and soulful looking young woman, looking of the sort to model for Picasso when not sitting for the HK Lachman who drew this but better and more importantly, I imagine an artist herself. I love the combination of her strong face here with those very gestural wisps of hair. 7" x 5". Black ink on heavy card in good condition, signed lower left. With her portrait subtly framed by an off square rectangle of toning, which I quite like.
