I wonder if these charming old barber's pole whimsies were carved by a barber in his spare time

mostly because I found the engraving on the label quite wonderful

I'm quite charmed by this swinging tabletop picture frame

are beautiful things in and of themselves

1874 Oyster Painted Treen Egg Bank beetle I wonder if these charmingI'd guess this coin bank was made as a gift to celebrate the birth of the year 1874, but I suppose it could have been made for Easter, perhaps with the 1874 scratched into the paint as a sort of afterthought. I'm not sure but what's better than an egg to hold every possibility?! In beautiful old paint as rich in color as a fresh laid farm egg. I love this, and equally from both sides. 4 7 8" l x 2 3 4" w x 3 1 8" t. Good coverall condition, with holes
