Original British Victorian Tower-Marked Saddle Ring Artillery Percussion Carbine dated 1845 U.S. Ammo Lee-Metford Mark II”Original Item: Only One Available. Carbines such as this are very nice and now very hard to find. This fine example has a 25 1 2" smoothbore barrel in . 75" caliber, and is fitted with double sliding Saddle rings on a 6" ring loop mounted on the left hand side of the receiver. We rather believe that these were intended for the mounted Artillerymen of the ROYAL HORSE ARTILLERY. It has all brass mounts, two ramrod pipes, trigger guard and butt plate,
