Charming Creature (I believe a goat), Naive Watercolor on Ledger Paper in Gold Leafed Frame matte black planter but with that faceI can't say with complete certainty whether this watercolor was done long ago or somewhat more recently; I found him in this nice old gilded wood frame, behind glass and with more recently papered back, and haven't opened it up. It does look like he was painted on old ledger paper of some sort, with inked text showing through just a bit.
