NAKAMURA TOSHITO Kutani Ware Tea Cup - Friendly Sparrows / 九谷焼 湯呑 k7-1216 this wind chime is aTwo sparrows rest on a delicate branch, their rounded forms painted with such care that you can almost feel their quiet presence. The russet brown of their heads contrasts gently with their cream bellies, rendered in soft washes that bring them fully to life. Nakamura's brush has captured something essential about their comfort in each other's companyand holding this cup becomes an act of witnessing that gentle companionship. (Fukura Suzumezu),
