This is an exceptionally rare inert demilitarized genuine Japanese WW2 sling grenade. This grenade was simply named by Allied forces as a Sling Grenade due to the method of throwing. Known as the Taisho 7 (1919) was WWI grenade design. The Taisho era began in 1912, so in the Japanese date system 1919 would be the seventh year of the Taisho era, or Taisho 7. The design consists of an iron body that measures
