This is a lovely original Soviet WWII badge, an Excellent Rifleman otherwise known as the Sniper Badge. It retains its enamel well and is maker marked on the reverse. The Rifleman badge is of the second variation, featuring a "square" top with narrow shield, and 5 wide scrolls in the top ornament not forming a triangle in the middle.
