I think it would also be pretty great to wear to the movies

I am 99% certain it is cast bronze rather than brass

the other 10 7/8" tall including handle of the axe

Mary Baker's Yellow House and Flowers, Crayon Drawing, 1917 pair of frames I think it would alsoThis is one of several crayon drawings done by a Mary Baker, a couple of them signed, and one dated 1917, surely done when miss Mary was in grade school. It looks to me like a cemetery to the right of the yellow house, with old tree in between, perfectly counterpointed by these fenced beds of exuberant flowers in the foreground, so good. 8 1 4" x 5 15 16" and in good shape, with a small fold to lower right corner.
