This is a large Cow Horn Powder Flask, measuring a staggering 20 inches in overall length. While possibly intended for a musket or other small arms, this size would often be used for cannon priming. The end of the horn is fluted in a pattern that matches the corresponding plug, and the plug is still attached to the original suspension. These are extremely difficult to find in this configuration. This example has a large
