Crusty Antique White Painted Wooden Finial old paint I really like the size

I really like the size and relative simplicity and humility of this old tramp art frame

There is some dryness/wear to the wood on the bowl of the spoon and along its edges

The ball is a tight fit but does move

Seen as a symbol of perseverance and good luck

Crusty Antique White Painted Wooden Finial old paint I really like the sizeI've started paying some attention to old finials, satisfying I think in a manner akin to carved whimsies, and as a great vehicle for crusty old paint with this one, beautiful standing on four old square nails, a perfect case in point. Just a gorgeous little object, and with these spindly nail legs making it seem as if it might scurry away! 4 1 2" t x 2 3 8" in diameter, in very good structural condition, with a fantastic patina
