Reddish Stained Carved Folk Art Cat sloping lid in excellent vintage condition (photosI really love the face on this cat, from strong brow to proud nose to deeply carved long whiskers adding up to a sense that this cat is rather staring one down and clearly has the upper hand! I don't know its origins and while it has some age I am not sure especially old, but it has a lot of character, presence and very cat like attitude! Substantial at 5 1 2" tall x 5 1 8" l x 2 1 4" w. Very good condition, with a reddish stain.
