from what I understand is actually an old nail rake

but it was only after the Color-aid paper system was discovered and adopted by Josef Albers that the system became an integral teaching tool in art and design classes across America and beyond

Beautiful Old Bentwood Bowl (Formerly a Basket) Art Deco decor The ground is predominately blackIt took me a little help to figure it out, but surely this bowl was once a basket there is a one remaining piece of the handle on the interior of one side, cut cleanly to the height of the bowl, and two nail holes visible on the opposite side, where the handle would have ended. I find it very beautiful in its current state though, with the angled grain of the wood where the end lap perfectly complementing the outwardly angling form of the bowl. I
