This is a fine example, nicely shell stamped on the rear of the skirt 1641. Comes complete with the original cloth liner over corrugated metal with oil skin sweatband and complete leather chinstrap. Chinstrap has been separated in one section which could be repaired. The SSh (sta'lnoy shlem, or steel helmet) 36 or the M (model) 36 was designed by Aleksandr A. Shvartz, and began production in 1936. Its large front rim
