Colored Pencil and Pastel Folk Art Drawing with Eagle to the Rescue! vintage dansk yellow cookware I just love the silhouetteI was drawn to the drama of this one, which I take for an allegory of sorts, with what I take as an eagle (though could be a hawk?) coming to the rescue of the dove that has been tethered by a fox (or coyote?) An American eagle as the savior might be a bit much, so I'm glad it's more broadly archetypal here, and certainly it is the dove that captures my empathy, very sweetly done, especially with head pointed forward as pdf looking toward its future
