Embroidered Tapestry | Ankurm Region_Belgium ORIGIN: Spain and CanadaStory This collective works with over eighty women artisans from more than seven different villages. Step by step and stitch by stitch they have built a community of artisans and created a structure to keep them creating. These tapestries are an amalgamation, a union of past and future. It is an interpretation of age old legacies. An erudite conversation in a language fading away. A manifestation of global sensibilities rooted in Indian traditions.
