There is a B proof on the left side of the barrel

and contained in an original  M6 leather Scabbard that has a custom made 88th Infantry Division Fighting Blue Devils insignia and reads:

troops during the amphibious D-Day invasion

The scabbard leather in black is somewhat deteriorated overall but solid with one particular area of weakness that could use some further restoration
