Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, obverse shows seven marching figures representing men and women in service, with the inscription 1939 Canada 1945 Voluntary Service Volontaire, reverse shows the coat of arms of Canada, on original striped ribbon with bar, evidence of some scratches, 46. 7 mm (h) x 36. 5 mm (w), very fine condition. Footnote: The Canadian Volunteer Service Medal (CVSM) was instituted on 22 October 1943. It was granted to persons of
